National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Podiatry Care

At Maroochy Podiatry, we are committed to providing personalised care and support to individuals with disabilities through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). If you or someone you care for is an NDIS participant, we’re here to help you achieve your foot health goals with services tailored to your unique needs.

What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

The NDIS is a national framework designed to provide essential support to people living with disabilities, along with their families and carers. It ensures that Australians under the age of 65, who have a permanent and significant disability, have access to the services they need. Through NDIS funding, participants can receive a range of supports that are crucial for maintaining their well-being and improving their quality of life.

How We Can Help NDIS Participants

At Maroochy Podiatry, we work closely with you to address any lower limb concerns and help you reach your goals as outlined in your NDIS plan.

What We Will Need From You

If you’re an NDIS participant or assisting one, and you’d like to arrange an appointment with us, please fill out our NDIS onboarding Form here.

Do You Need to Share Your NDIS Plan?

No, we do not need to see your NDIS plan to provide podiatry care. It’s entirely up to you whether you choose to share your plan with us. However, some of the information we collect in the onboarding document could be from your plan.

I’m Self-Managed, How Does the Payment Process Work?

If you are a self-managed NDIS participant, you will pay for the appointment on the day of your visit. The NDIS will then reimburse you directly. This reimbursement process is managed between you and the NDIS.
